“Maranatha!”

I have been studying prophecy for some 60 years. Great Bible teachers of the 30s, 40s and 50s laid out in detail from Scripture how the events leading to the rapture expositions fulfilled in great detail.

We are surely approaching the midnight hour of the church age! Signs are multiplying as never before. The stage is being set for the last act in the drama of Man’s rebellion against God.

Jesus said, we “cannot know the day nor the hour”, but He also said we can know it is “near, even at the doors.” Jesus also said “Watch” and “be ready”.

Jesus also said to the religious leaders of the day of His earthly ministry, concerning His first coming, “Ye can discern the face of the sky but can ye not discern the signs of the times?”

Paul said, “But ye brethren are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief”. In other words, you’ll be able to see it coming.

The writer to the Hebrews said the same thing, “and so much the more as ye see the day approaching.” Again, in other words, there will be a specific generation that will see the approaching day of the Lord and the rapture that will precede it.

We are that generation!

Others have longed for and anticipated the Rapture. Some have seen distant undulations of the coming Day of the Lord, but we can see that the trumpet is about to sound!

If you are not saved, turn to Christ now, in repentance and faith. If you are saved, make sure your life is pure and sound the warning to all around you!

The Rapture has always been an immediate possibility, the stage setting events preceding the tribulation period could have occurred after the Rapture. However, today we are seeing the stage setting events occurring prior to the Rapture, changing the Rapture from an immediate possibility to an immediate expectation. There is no contradiction here, there seems to be a progressive aspect to end times revelation.

Daniel 12:8, 9 “… then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And He said, go thy way, Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed to the time of the end”.
